Know where every item is stored: storage locations, merging and splitting storage boxes, and printing item and storage labels with numbers or barcodes.
Give each item a storage location on its Details tab — a box, a shelf, a bin. The Storage page then shows every location as a box: hover over one to see what's inside, and use Show in inventory to open the inventory filtered to that storage.
Label Generator → Item Labels prints numbered labels to stick on your items or bags: just a number, a prefix and number (such as RV0001), or a barcode with the number. Choose the starting number (leading zeros are kept), the number of labels per page, the paper size (4×6 shipping label, US Letter or A4) and the font size. Save Settings remembers your choices, and after printing you can move the starting number on to the next unused label.
Label Generator → Storage Labels prints a label for each storage location that has active items, listing the SKUs of the items inside. Choose the storages, the font sizes, and whether to print each label twice (one for each side of the box). Labels can also be shared from your phone.
If your item IDs follow a pattern, Settings → General → Item ID Number Pattern tells the Storage page where the number is, so items sort in the right order.
